FIRST LOOK: Bulgari Goldea shines ahead of launch

The new fragrance from Bulgari, Goldea, is inspired by gold and light. The name means “Gold Godess” (english ‘gold’ + latin ‘dea’). Goldea, launches in October 2015 and the brand says it represents the beginning of a new collection, more than 10 years after the last collection Omnia was launched.

The composition is oriental – floral, bold heavy with musk, developed by Alberto Morillas. It begins with notes of crystal musk, orange blossom, raspberry and bergamot. The heart includes golden musk, ylang-ylang and jasmine. The base features accords of velvety musk, amber, patchouli and Egyptian papyrus.

The face of advertisement, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, is supermodel Isabeli Fontana featuring a glittering, snake wrapped bracelet and a smokey eyed makeup look.

Bulgari Goldea will debut in October with travel retail as a major launch platform, but will not reach the US until 2016.

Bulgari Goldea is available in a round gold flacon as 25, 50 and 90 ml Eau de Parfum.
